With these two pieces, I tried to adhere to the style that we'd been attempting all term, this allowed me to get the basic shape of the pose completed very quickly. This meant that I was left with plenty of time to refine the weight and rhythm of the figures.
I really like what I achieved with the second and third pages on the 1 minute poses. I felt that I've come a long way and am starting to enjoy quickly blocking in the whole pose using rhythm and weight. I think I've also loosened up a lot with my curves and flow lines.
Getting to grips with the 'skiing' flow through the figures was actually incredibly enjoyable. I felt that it did indeed help to tie the pose of the figure together and keep the sense of balance. It seemed natural.
